MAJA-AJMIA YDE ZELLAMA
BIO
Maja-Ajmia Yde Zellama is a Belgian-Tunisian-Danish filmmaker and screenwriter. A graduate of LUCA School of Arts, she is also the co-founder and president of ASBL Bledarte, a Brussels-based association that empowers and amplifies the voices of migrant youth through art and culture.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
Grieving the loss of a loved one is a complex journey no matter where you are in the world. However, like many experiences, it takes on new layers of intricacy when placed within the context of the Middle East. Têtes Brûlées is a reflection on both the universal and culturally specific nuances of grief.
