Maria Cruickshank

Maria Cruickshank is a Basque actress. Among other works, for several years she played the character of “Itxaso” in the well known series “Goenkale”. She began her career in cinema with Borja Cobeaga in the film “Negociador” and has participated in series such as Vis a Vis. We can also see her in films such as “Villaviciosa de al lado” and “Igelak”. In animation, she has participated in the two Black is Beltza films by Fermin Muguruza, voicing the character of Ainhoa in the last one. Detective Touré”, is the latest series in which she has participated, will soon be premiering on TV1.

In parallel to her work as an actress, she has combined her work as a presenter in different events, as well as on television.

Beyond the professional sphere, she is often actively involved in initiatives related to gender equality.
