Synopsis

Dane, a driver for a humanitarian NGO in N’Djamena, leads a peaceful life with his pregnant wife Delphine. A moment of inattention, a cell phone ringing at the wrong time, a boy crossing the road too quickly. It’s an accident and they tell him the boy has died. His family demands compensation in the form of “the Diya,” the price of blood. Dane’s quest will take him to the desert in northern Chad where he will discover the truth about the event that turned his life upside down.
