Sambou Diaby

BIO

An actor of Basque heritage, bom in Pamplona and with Senegalese roots, Sambou Diaby currently lives in Oikia (Zumaia). His artistic joumey began in 2016 when he took part as a dancer and featured extra in the TV series Goazen 3.O. Since then, his dedication to acting has only grown stronger.

Sambou trained at the TAE school in Donostia, then continued his studies in Madrid, specialising in on-camera acting. During this time, he was selected to join La Joven Compañia de Madrid {The Young Company ofMadrid). He later expanded bis training in Barcelona through the intensive AfrikaMoment course, focused on the artistic empowerment of Afro-descendant creators in Spain.

Professional1y, Sambou has been involved in film, television, and short film projects. Notable works include the short films Muga, Laiotz (in which he was both lead actor and screenwriter), and La luz de los domingos, as well as appearances in series such as Altsasu, Jtxaso, and Odol Jlargia. In cinema, he played the lead in La Isla de los Faisanes, and also featured in La regla de Osha and El Hoyo 2.
