Mora López de Vicuña, born in Buenos Aires and raised in Vitoria-Gasteiz, is an art director and multidisciplinary graphic designer currently based in Hamburg. She studied at the IDarte School of Art and Design and has worked both in design studios and as a freelance designer.

She has been the festival’s creative director since its inception. Over the past years, she has been behind the festival’s visual identity, posters, programme design, catalogue, stage design, awards, and merchandising, among other elements.

In her work, she understands design as a channel of expression, where graphics are not the only tool to convey a message. Materials, textures and formats also play an important role.
