greatest symbols of Cape Verdean culture. They are linked to social and cultural manifestations that have evolved over time.<\/p><p>As a son of this country, where I grew up, studied and danced, I realized that, just as music was reinventing itself, so were its styles and dances. Knowing that, in some cases, there is a risk of losing traditional memory, this film&#8217;s primary intention is to address the various dance styles that exist in Cape Verde, with a renewed look and poetic language. Embrace poets, musicians and dancers who have inspired and filled the islands\u2019 universe to this day.
